Emmanuel Balderrama Moreno is a Chicano noise musician, saxophonist, and interdisciplinary artist from Aurora Colorado. With a strong admiration of the art historical movements of Italian futurism (specifically Luigi Rusolo) DaDa, Fluxus, Gutai, and the general Avant-Garde Emmanuel hopes to challenge audiences on what music is and music can be through anything from sound collage to harsh crushing soundscapes to face melting free jazz. His work often stems from his experiences as a Mexican American and his general critiques of the ugly, dull, superfluous, and macabre realities of living in the 21st century. 

He works under the aliases EM.BAL.M, Extremadura, spolia opima and is involved with the bands “Music Lessons” & “flightreacts.gif” and is always looking for collaborators.
